1-Day Full Day Chobe Safari
Overview
This is a day-trip safari in Botswana’s Chobe National Park. The park is home to more than 150,000 African elephants. The Kavango–Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area (KAZA) is situated in a region of Southern Africa where the international borders of 5 countries converge. It includes a major part of the Upper Zambezi River, the Okavango Basins and Delta, the Caprivi Strip of Namibia, the southeastern part of Angola, Southwest Zambia, the Northern wildlands of Botswana, and Western Zimbabwe.

Clients are picked up from their respective accommodations in Victoria Falls at 07h00. Drive for 70km drive in a mini-van, bus, or 4×4 SUV from Victoria Falls through Zambezi National Park to the Kazungula Border. Go through the border formalities (a KAZA Univisa is recommended for entry into Zimbabwe). You will change to a 4×4 open-sided safari vehicle. You will then do the Botswana border formalities and foot-and-mouth decontamination which is mandatory (Botswana is a beef-producing economy). You will drive to the safari office for tea or coffee and pastries.
Embark on a 3-hour river safari on the Chobe River where you will have lunch and refreshments. Head for the border after the safari and go through the immigration and border formalities for Botswana and Zimbabwe. You will then drive for 70km back to your respective place of accommodation or drop-off point. This is where the safari ends.
